The Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) in cooperation with the Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaborative and Canadian Society of Transplantation was pleased to host the third online edition of the Patient, Family and Donor Research Forum devoted to donation and transplantation research partners across Canada on June 22-23, 2022.

Through a mix of presentations and open discussions, participants learned about the importance of equity, diversity, and inclusion in donation and transplantation research, how PFD partners can play critical roles in knowledge mobilization and policy change, and the fundamentals of a robust patient engagement plan. The sessions were divided into 4 main themes:
