We are excited to be hosting the CDTRP 2026 Scientific Meeting and From Bench to Business: Commercial Pathways in Immunology Diagnostics Workshop  from December 1-3, 2026 at the Edmonton Convention Center and hybrid.
The CDTRP 2026 Scientific Meeting (December 1-2), co-chaired by Dr. Chantal Bémeur | Theme Lead (Theme 5) and Dr. Jonathan Choy | Theme Lead (Theme 4), will bring this national community together to share new research, advance collaboration beyond discipline-specific settings, support project planning among national working groups, and spotlight priority areas and emerging national and global trends in donation and transplantation research.
From Bench to Business: Commercial Pathways in Immunology Diagnostics, co-chaired by Dr. Anne Halpin  and Dr. Francis Migneault , is a full-day hybrid workshop supported by the CIHR Institute of Infection and Immunity. The workshop will train researchers and trainees to translate discoveries in infection and immunity from the lab to real-world applications. Participants will learn how to identify commercial opportunities, protect their ideas, and work with industry and other partners to develop products that improve health.

CDTRP 2026 Scientific Meeting

The meeting is scheduled to take place on December 1-2, 2026. The meeting officially begins at 8:30 am MT on Tuesday, December 1st and will run for two days, with a social event on Wednesday, December 2nd. The meeting will end at 5:00 pm MT on Wednesday, December 2nd.

We are excited to hold our 2026 Scientific Meeting and the “From Bench to Business” Workshop in Edmonton, AB! The Planning Committees are building a robust program that maximizes interaction with past, present, and future collaborators.

Virtual

For those attendees unable to join us in Edmonton, we are running most sessions in an interactive hybrid format (Zoom) allowing virtual attendees the opportunity to ask questions and fully participate in sessions in real-time.

The Edmonton Convention Center is located at 9797 Jasper Ave, Edmonton, AB T5J 1N9. It is located in the heart of downtown Edmonton.
