Welcome new CDTRP Research Manager: Geetha Sanmugalingham
The CDTRP is excited to welcome Geetha Sanmugalingham as a Research Manager. Geetha holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and a Master’s degree from the University of Montreal, where her research focused on implementing patient-based funding systems in cancer screening at Cancer Care Ontario. With 15 years of experience, she is a valuable asset to the CDTRP team. She began her research career at Toronto General Hospital in the multi-organ transplant clinic and most recently served as a Research Manager in diabetes transition care at the Hospital for Sick Children. Additionally, Geetha is passionate about working with families and driving impactful changes in health policy. We are thrilled to have Geetha join us as we continue to advance research and improve care outcomes.
About Geetha Sanmugalingham
Geetha Sanmugalingham (BSc, BHA, MSc) earned her undergraduate degree at University of Toronto and her masters degree at University of Montreal. Her masters degree project looked at how to implement a patient-based funding system in cancer screening at Cancer Care Ontario. She started in research as a research assistant at Toronto General Hospital in the multi-organ transplant clinic. At her most recent role, she was a Research Manger in diabetes transition care at the Hospital for Sick Children. She has been in research for the past 15 years and enjoys working with families and making an impact on health policies.
