Esmé Dijke’s bio

Esmé Dijke is Director of the clinical histocompatibility laboratory at the University of Alberta Hospital and Assistant Professor in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Alberta. Her research focuses on the potential of discarded human thymus as a novel source of clinical-grade, stable regulatory T cells (Tregs) for adoptive cell immunotherapy in transplantation and autoimmunity. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two boys and Bernedoodle.
