Aisha Adil
Aisha is a second-year PhD candidate in the Department of Laboratory Medicine & Pathobiology at the University of Toronto co-supervised by Drs. Michelle Bendeck and Paul Santerre. Her doctorate is focusing on nanoparticle drug delivery for treating vascular occlusive diseases in children and adults. She previously obtained an MSc in Tissue Engineering through the Institute of Medical Science, UofT, focusing on establishing a small tissue engineered animal model for vascular composite allotransplantation.
