Dr.Soumita Ghosh is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Ajmera Transplant Centre, Toronto General Hospital Research Institute, University Health Network, under the supervision of Dr. Mamatha Bhat.
Her research focuses on developing machine learning methods for the integrated analysis of omics and clinical data to improve health outcomes, particularly in transplant and liver disease populations. She was an Eric and Wendy Schmidt AI in Science Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto and is the recipient of the 2024 Toronto General Hospital Research Institute Postdoctoral Research Award. Soumita holds master’s in computer science from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and a Ph.D. in Public Health (Biostatistics) from the National University of Singapore and has nearly a decade of experience in the development and application of statistical and computational approaches for complex multi-omics data analysis.
