Many of the CDTRP trainees were selected to speak at international conferences this year. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, many presentations have been cancelled (see our Events page for more details).
CDTRP saw this as an opportunity to showcase their projects and work via a Zoom call, with the additional challenge of presenting their scientific research in simplified terminology to CDTRP Patient, Family and Donor research partners (PFD). The purpose is to garner experience and feedback from the PFD research partners.
Presentations:
- Ali Rutman – Membrane-bound Vesicles in Type 1 Diabetes Pathogenesis (CDTRP Theme 3)
- Mackenzie Cullip – How can Death Investigators Help or Hinder Organ Donation? (CDTRP Theme 1)
- Shanshan Lan – Cell death in renal blood vessel post ischemia-reperfusion injury (CDTRP Theme 3)
- Vanessa Silva – BRiC Study: Burnout and Resilience among Organ Donation Coordinators (CDTRP Theme 1)
