FROM BENCH TO BUSINESS: COMMERCIAL PATHWAYS IN IMMUNOLOGY DIAGNOSTICS

Travel awards are available for From Bench to Business: Commercial Pathways in Immunology Diagnostics, taking place on December 3, 2026,  at the Edmonton Convention Centre. This full-day workshop will train researchers and trainees to translate discoveries in infection and immunity from the lab to real-world applications. Participants will learn how to identify commercial opportunities, protect their ideas, and work with industry and other partners to develop products that improve health.

Social Activities

The meeting’s social events will feature a screening of Fraser Allen Best’s documentary Thanks for the Liver  and a book club discussing “Other Endings: Organ Transplantation and the Burdens of Hope,” written by Dr. Anita Slominska.
