Respecting First Nations, Inuit and Métis Data Sovereignty at CIHI

This session will explore how CIHI works respectfully with First Nations, Inuit and Métis communities and organizations to support data sovereignty through engagement and partnership. It will answer questions such as:

–       How does CIHI govern First Nations, Inuit and Métis data held at CIHI?

–       What is CIHI’s approach to co-creating health information products with First Nations, Inuit and Métis partners?

–       How may a First Nation community go about accessing data and analytics about members of their community held with CIHI?

The session will highlight key success stories and their impacts and speak to potential future collaborations and partnerships to inform First Nations, Inuit and Métis  priorities for organ donation and transplantation
