A position on the CDTRP Data Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB) is now open. We are launching a call for applications and nominations to identify a qualified replacement.

Who we are seeking: We are seeking an active or retired academic investigator who has experience in clinical trials testing interventions directed toward improved outcomes in solid organ transplantation. Prior service as a member of an REB or DSMB is highly desirable but not necessary.

Nature of the role: DSMB members provide independent oversight of CDTRP‑supported clinical trials, reviewing safety data, monitoring study progress, and making advisory recommendations to sponsors. The DSMB meets twice per year, with occasional ad hoc meetings if required. Members are expected to review study materials in advance of meetings and participate in discussions and voting.

How to apply or nominate: Please submit a CV and a brief statement of your qualifications and reasons for interest in the position at info@cdtrp.ca . Deadline: September 30

Questions about the role: For more information, you may contact the DSMB Chair, Dr. Paul Martin at pmartin@fredhutch.org.
