The meeting’s social events will feature a screening of Fraser Allen Best’s documentary Thanks for the Liver  and a book club discussingOther Endings: Organ Transplantation and the Burdens of Hope,” written by Dr. Anita Slominska.

FROM BENCH TO BUSINESS: COMMERCIAL PATHWAYS IN IMMUNOLOGY DIAGNOSTICS

Registration is also open for From Bench to Business: Commercial Pathways in Immunology Diagnostics, taking place on December 3, 2026, also at the Edmonton Convention Centre. This full-day workshop will train researchers and trainees to translate discoveries in infection and immunity from the lab to real-world applications. Participants will learn how to identify commercial opportunities, protect their ideas, and work with industry and other partners to develop products that improve health.
