Across Canada, there is a need for clear and consistent guidance to ensure living kidney donors receive high-quality care that supports their long-term well-being. A national Consensus Conference on Post-Donation Care for Living Kidney Donors will bring together clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates to review and evaluate recommendations aimed at improving post-donation follow-up and primary care management for living donors.

During this virtual conference, participants will discuss proposed recommendations and take part in anonymous voting to help ensure balanced, evidence-informed guidance informed by multidisciplinary expertise and lived donor experience. The discussions will contribute to a national consensus report that aims to support consistent, high-quality post-donation care for living kidney donors across Canada.
