About Caroline Johnson

My name is Caroline Gordon. I’m a proud mother of a twelve-year-old daughter and a woman of faith. Being a Christian keeps me grounded, helps me stay positive, and reminds me to believe in miracles—because I consider myself one.

At the age of 28, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune liver disease. What followed was a long, emotional, and challenging journey through the healthcare system. But through God’s grace and the gift of an anonymous donor, I received a life-saving liver transplant. That gift gave me not only a second chance at life but the ability to be here today, thriving and enjoying every moment with my daughter.

As a Black woman, navigating the healthcare system came with unique challenges—but it also gave me a voice. I’m passionate about sharing my story to inspire others, especially in underserved communities, and to raise awareness about the importance of organ donation and patient advocacy.

Today, I live with gratitude, hope, and the desire to help others find strength in their own journeys. My goal is to continue walking in good health, guided by faith, and using my story to uplift and educate others.
