2024 Patient, Family, and Donor Research Forum Program Highlight!

The CDTRP is delighted to welcome Dr. Jaqui Getfield and Osa Osadolor from the Caribbean African Regenerative Medicine (CARM) Project. They will be sharing their insights and experiences from their work with African, Caribbean, and Black patients and communities.

Dr. Jacqui Getfield is the Project Manager of CARM and an adjunct professor in the Department of Graduate Studies at York University. Dr.  Jacqui Getfield’s research interests focus on family engagement, home-school partnerships, as well as concepts of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging (DEIAB) and diasporic living

Osa Osadolor is a third-year Biomedical Science student at the University of Guelph with a minor in Black Canadian Studies. She’s passionate about exploring the intersection of race and medicine and aims to integrate this understanding into her future healthcare career.
