Welcome new CDTRP Research Services Manager: Amal Trigui

The CDTRP is thrilled to welcome Amal Trigui as Research Services Manager. Amal Trigui (Ph.D.) recently earned her Ph.D. in Nutrition from the Université de Montréal. Her research at CRCHUM focused on malnutrition and sarcopenia in liver transplantation, under the supervision of Dr. Chantal Bémeur and the co-supervision of Dr. Christopher Rose. Amal began her academic journey in Tunisia, her home country, where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Medical Biology and received a national excellence scholarship to pursue graduate studies in Canada. She moved to Canada in 2017 and completed her master’s degree in 2019, studying the protective effects of extra virgin olive oil on age-related changes in lipoproteins. Across her academic and professional experience, Amal has contributed to several scientific publications. She is passionate about translating research findings into meaningful improvements in patient care and quality of life.
