We are very pleased to share an update about the 2019 CDTRP Innovation Grant Competition, closed for applications on February 19, 2020.

The CDTRP received a total of 47 applications. This level of engagement shows the steady demand for this type of funding and the steadfast commitment from each of our partners who together will help fund 17 new Canadian projects. This is the same number of applicants as last year’s competition, and we are happy to fulfill the need for new funding resources together with our partners.

We wish to thank Paladin Labs, the Addison Fund and Transplant Research Foundation of British Columbia, Canadian Liver Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Kidney Foundation of Canada, Université de Montréal, University Health Network Multi-Organ Transplant Program, Sickkids and Ashley’s Angels Foundation, and Alberta Transplant Innovation.

Stay tuned for results in early May 2020. For more funding opportunities, visit our Grant Competitions page.
