Margherita Cameranesi’s bio
Dr. Margherita Cameranesi is a clinical psychologist and a researcher at the University of Manitoba with experience in conducting participatory, community-directed, and patient-led research in close collaboration with patient partners and community organizations. Her research focuses on resilience, mental health, and well-being in different groups who experience challenging life circumstances and have complex needs, such as families impacted by intimate partner violence or neurodevelopmental disabilities, Indigenous families, youth with type 1 diabetes, and refugee youth.
