Specialist Knowledge Translation Training from SickKids: Registration open

The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is offering a Specialist Knowledge Translation Training (SKTT™) online training designed to teach the unique skillset that surrounds KT practice. The course was developed on the premise that scientists, and increasingly, other practitioners and educators, are agents of change in creating research impact, promoting research utilization, and ensuring that research findings reach the appropriate audiences.

OVERVIEW

Specialist Knowledge Translation Training (SKTT™) is a course for anyone interested in learning more about knowledge translation (KT). It is an excellent introduction to KT for those who have an interest in sharing research knowledge with audiences beyond the traditional academic community. AUDIENCE

The workshop is appropriate for scientists (basic, clinical, health services, population health) as well as educators, clinicians and KT professionals (e.g., KT Specialists, KT Managers, Knowledge Brokers). While the focus is on health, the material is highly relevant to individuals working in other sectors.

FEE

The course fee is $550.00 CAD, which includes course materials and tools, and access to the online collaborative platform.
