CDTRP is offering 10 pre-paid seats to the online San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program

The CDTRP Education and Training Platform is happy to offer 10 pre-paid seats (value of $300 each) to an online training program given by the San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program. This opportunity is open to all trainees and patient/family/donor partners.

Eligibility
  • CDTRP trainees and patient, family, and donor partners.
  • Will provide feedback to CDTRP on your experience with the program.
  • Available to start the program in November (date to be determined) and complete within 8 weeks.
  • First come, first serve.

About the San’yas Anti-Racism Indigenous Cultural Safety Training Program

This program introduces participants to key aspects of cultural safety and addressing anti-Indigenous racism. The curriculum and learning activities have been designed to help participants:

  • Strengthen their knowledge, awareness, and skills for working with and providing service to Indigenous people and communities
  • Work more safely and effectively with Indigenous people
  • Begin considering their role in correcting, rebuilding and transforming systems to uproot Indigenous-specific racism

The training sessions are self-paced and you will have 8 weeks to complete the program. Anticipated time commitment is 8-10 hours. There is no set time to be logged onto the platform and facilitators are on hand to assist you.
