Peer review is a key step in the evaluation of research projects to ensure that they represent feasible, ethical, and applicable projects that are well-positioned to result in success.
The Patient Partners in Peer Review module is aimed at those who have never participated in the peer review process and was developed with a working group of lived experience reviewers. This self-paced course will provide PFD partners with a foundational understanding of what peer review is, why it is important, and how PFD partners can get involved in research.
The self-paced online course was developed in partnership between tje Canadian Nephrology Trials Network, The Kidney Foundation of Canada, and The Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program.
Learners who complete the module will receive a certificate of completion.
