Join the CDTRP National COVID-19 Prioritization Session during the 11th Annual Scientific Meeting in Calgary!

We’re gearing up for the 11th Annual CDTRP Scientific Meeting, happening December 3-4, 2024, in Calgary, AB. This year’s event promises an exciting lineup of the latest research and advancements in donation and transplantation.

A key highlight will be the National COVID-19 Prioritization session on December 4th, which you can attend in-person or virtually from 10:45 AM – 12:15 PM.

AGENDA

The TREAT-COVID Study investigates how Covid-19 continues to impact the transplant community. This session is a great opportunity to learn more about TREAT-COVID study and discuss ways to retain participants and communicate health economics in more plain language .  Find the agenda below:

  1. Dr. Dima Kabbani and Dr. Istvan Mucsi will present recruitment numbers and descriptive statistics.
  2. Dr. Kednapa Thavorn will explain the health economics modeling on covid-19 therapies.
  3. Breakout rooms will gather feedback on how best to communicate health economics to a lay population, recruitment diversity and retention of participants.

Your participation will tell us how best to approach transplant recipients and their families/caregivers to encourage their participation in this first Canadian transplant questionnaire study.
