Nous sommes fiers de pr\u00e9senter tous les projets innovants qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 financ\u00e9s dans le cadre du concours de cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Nous tenons \u00e0 f\u00e9liciter chaleureusement la <strong>Dre. Le risque de d\u00e9velopper un diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s une greffe de rein est important et entra\u00eene d&rsquo;autres complications. Les travaux de la Dre. Un greff\u00e9 du rein sur quatre d\u00e9veloppera un diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s la transplantation. Les personnes qui souffrent de diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s une transplantation r\u00e9nale courent un risque plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 de souffrir d&rsquo;une maladie cardiaque, de perdre leur greffe de rein ou de mourir pr\u00e9matur\u00e9ment. Il est urgent d&rsquo;identifier des traitements pour pr\u00e9venir le diab\u00e8te chez les receveurs de greffe de rein. \u00c0 ce jour, il n&rsquo;existe aucun traitement pour pr\u00e9venir le diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s une transplantation r\u00e9nale. Le semaglutide est un m\u00e9dicament couramment utilis\u00e9 pour traiter le diab\u00e8te et l&rsquo;ob\u00e9sit\u00e9. Nous pensons que le s\u00e9maglutide est un m\u00e9dicament s\u00fbr et efficace qui peut pr\u00e9venir le diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s une transplantation r\u00e9nale, mais aussi aider \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger le greffon r\u00e9nal en augmentant le flux sanguin et l&rsquo;apport d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne. Nous pensons \u00e9galement que le semaglutide peut prot\u00e9ger le rein en r\u00e9duisant la quantit\u00e9 de cicatrices.\u00a0 Nous proposons donc une \u00e9tude dans laquelle 20 transplant\u00e9s r\u00e9naux pr\u00e9sentant un risque \u00e9lev\u00e9 de d\u00e9velopper un diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s la transplantation seront assign\u00e9s de mani\u00e8re al\u00e9atoire \u00e0 recevoir soit du semaglutide, soit un placebo pendant 6 mois. Ces participants passeront ensuite des IRM de leur greffe de rein au d\u00e9but et \u00e0 la fin de l&rsquo;\u00e9tude. Cette technologie IRM nous permettra d&rsquo;\u00e9tudier comment le s\u00e9maglutide peut prot\u00e9ger la greffe de rein en \u00e9valuant les changements dans l&rsquo;apport d&rsquo;oxyg\u00e8ne, le flux sanguin et la cicatrisation du rein. Le diab\u00e8te apr\u00e8s une transplantation r\u00e9nale est un probl\u00e8me courant, et il est extr\u00eamement important de pr\u00e9venir les complications dues au diab\u00e8te.
