Le PRDTC est ravis d\u2019annoncer la nouvelle codirectrice de la plateforme patients, familles et donneurs: Dre Shaifali Sandal<\/h4>\n

Nous sommes ravis d\u2019annoncer que Dre Shaifali Sandal <\/strong>est la nouvelle codirectrice de la plateforme patients, familles et donneurs.<\/strong> Membre pr\u00e9cieuse de la communaut\u00e9 du PRDTC depuis de nombreuses ann\u00e9es, Dre Sandal a apport\u00e9 une contribution significative \u00e0 nos recherches et initiatives. Dre Sandal est professeure agr\u00e9g\u00e9e, n\u00e9phrologue transplantatrice et chercheuse clinicienne soutenue par le FRQS et financ\u00e9e par les IRSC au Centre universitaire de sant\u00e9 McGill. Elle a \u00e9tabli un programme de recherche appel\u00e9 (B<\/strong>uilding,\u00a0E<\/strong>quitable,\u00a0S<\/strong>tronger and\u00a0S<\/strong>ustainable health\u00a0S<\/strong>ystems in\u00a0T<\/strong>ransplantation and\u00a0K<\/strong>idney\u00a0C<\/strong>are), dont l’objectif est d’am\u00e9liorer la prestation des soins aux patients atteints de maladies r\u00e9nales. Rejoignez-nous pour faire sa connaissance et d\u00e9couvrir sa vision et ses aspirations alors qu\u2019elle entre dans ce nouveau r\u00f4le au sein de la plateforme patients, familles et donneurs!<\/p>\n<\/div>

About Dr. Shaifali Sandal\u00a0<\/strong>(en anglais)<\/h5>\n
What inspired you to join CDTRP\u2019s PFD Partnership Platform as a co-lead?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

I wanted to be more involved in the patient advocacy initiatives of this platform and make a meaningful contribution to the transplant community. Working with patient\u00a0 partners is an enriching and learning opportunity that helps me become a better researcher and clinician.<\/em><\/p>\n

What impact do you hope to make in strengthening partnerships between PFDs and PIs\/Trainees?<\/strong><\/h6>\n

I want to create a checklist to better guide researchers on how to meaningfully integrate patient partners in their studies. I also particularly want to identify ways to better integrate PFDs from different races and ethnicities into the program’s ongoing initiatives.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
