La Dre de Paula Ferreira est physioth\u00e9rapeute et titulaire d&rsquo;un dipl\u00f4me en danse. Elle a \u00e9galement obtenu une ma\u00eetrise et un doctorat en \u00e9ducation physique de l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 f\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Paran (UFPR), au Br\u00e9sil, o\u00f9 elle a \u00e9tudi\u00e9 les effets d&rsquo;un programme d&rsquo;exercices de danse \u00e0 domicile chez des personnes atteintes de la maladie de Parkinson. Pr\u00e9sentement, la Dre Ferreira est boursi\u00e8re postdoctorale \u00e0 l&rsquo;Universit\u00e9 de Toronto, et travaille avec la Dre Sunita Mathur depuis 2019 dans le domaine de la fragilit\u00e9 et de la sarcop\u00e9nie chez les candidats et les receveurs de greffes d&rsquo;organes. De m\u00eame, ils visent \u00e0 encourager tous les receveurs \u00e0 rester en forme et en bonne sant\u00e9 apr\u00e8s la greffe.<\/p>\n<p>Les Jeux mondiaux des greff\u00e9s donnent aux receveurs la motivation n\u00e9cessaire pour s&rsquo;efforcer d&rsquo;atteindre une r\u00e9adaptation compl\u00e8te gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l&rsquo;exercice, \u00e0 la camaraderie et \u00e0 un mode de vie sain.
