Environ <strong>190 participants de six pays diff\u00e9rents<\/strong> se sont inscrits \u00e0 ce Forum.<\/p>\n<p>Les objectifs de ce forum de recherche \u00e9taient triples :<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Pr\u00e9senter le travail des chercheurs qui a \u00e9volu\u00e9 avec l&rsquo;ajout de la perspective d&rsquo;un patient, famille ou donneur (PFD) ;<\/li>\n<li>Aider les chercheurs qui cherchent \u00e0 obtenir un retour d&rsquo;information sur leurs travaux de la part des patients, familles ou donneurs ;<\/li>\n<li>Aider les patients, familles et donneurs \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper des projets de recherche dirig\u00e9s par des PFD ou des id\u00e9es sur la fa\u00e7on dont les PFD peuvent \u00eatre inclus dans les initiatives de recherche en don et transplantation.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-separator fusion-full-width-sep\" style=\"align-self: center;margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;margin-top:30px;margin-bottom:30px;width:100%;\"><div class=\"fusion-separator-border sep-single sep-solid\" style=\"--awb-height:20px;--awb-amount:20px;border-color:#e0dede;border-top-width:1px;\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-2\"><h5><strong>Points forts des pr\u00e9sentations et des discussions<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>La matin\u00e9e du <strong>premier jour<\/strong> du Forum a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9e aux discussions relatives aux familles et aux proches aidants. Certains ont mentionn\u00e9 les avantages qui peuvent d\u00e9couler de la participation des patients aux projets de recherche :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Am\u00e9liorer les r\u00e9sultats pour les patients et le syst\u00e8me de sant\u00e9 ;<\/li>\n<li>Am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 des soins ;<\/li>\n<li>Am\u00e9liorer la qualit\u00e9 et la pertinence de la recherche ;<\/li>\n<li>Apporter de nouvelles id\u00e9es qui n&rsquo;avaient pas \u00e9t\u00e9 envisag\u00e9es auparavant ;<\/li>\n<li>Faciliter le recrutement et la diffusion des r\u00e9sultats<\/li>\n<li>Favoriser le transfert des connaissances et la mise en pratique des r\u00e9sultats de la recherche ;<\/li>\n<li>Responsabiliser les patients, les familles et les donneurs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ensuite, les participants ont d\u00e9couvert les nombreuses r\u00e9percussions sociales et \u00e9conomiques qu&rsquo;impose la prise en charge des patients et les ressources qui existent pour les soutenir.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi de la premi\u00e8re journ\u00e9e du Forum a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9e aux b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiaires de greffe. On a d&rsquo;abord expliqu\u00e9 comment les organes peuvent \u00eatre mieux utilis\u00e9s au Canada, puis comment les PFD peuvent participer aux <em>World Transplant Games<\/em>. Ensuite, des discussions ont eu lieu sur une \u00e9tude qui examine comment am\u00e9liorer l&rsquo;engagement et l&rsquo;autonomisation des patients qui sont dans leur parcours de transplantation.<\/p>\n<p>Au <strong>deuxi\u00e8me jour<\/strong> du Forum, la matin\u00e9e a \u00e9t\u00e9 consacr\u00e9e au don vivant d&rsquo;organe ainsi qu&rsquo;\u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9ducation. Apr\u00e8s avoir entendu l&rsquo;histoire d&rsquo;une donneuse vivante, les participants ont appris comment les \u00e9tudiants sont sensibilis\u00e9s au don d&rsquo;organe en Alberta et en Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>L&rsquo;apr\u00e8s-midi de la deuxi\u00e8me journ\u00e9e du Forum avait pour th\u00e8me la participation des PFD \u00e0 la recherche. Une pr\u00e9sentation du <a href=\"https:\/\/mykidneysmyhealth.com\/\">site web My Kidneys My Health<\/a>, cr\u00e9\u00e9 par des patients, pour des patients atteints de maladies r\u00e9nales, a ensuite suivie. Enfin, les participants ont entendu trois points de vue autochtones sur les recherches ax\u00e9es sur les patients et sur la fa\u00e7on de d\u00e9velopper la comp\u00e9tence
