Maneka completed a PhD in Cell Biology at the University of Alberta and a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Oncology at the University of Calgary. She worked as a Clinical Researcher and a Research Program Manager for Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Calgary (2016-2022) prior to joining the Transplant Wellness team.
