She holds an <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cellular<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">Biology<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">from the University <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">of Sherbrooke. Supervised by Dr. M\u00e9lanie Dieud\u00e9, her research focuses on <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">characterizing the impact of vascular injury triggered autoimmune responses <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">on the development of lupus nephritis and end stage renal failure (ESRF).<\/span> <span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">With this research she aims to identify biomarkers and new intervention <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">targets to develop tests and therapies that will help monitor and treat <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">patients with lupus nephritis to prevent ESRF and the<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">\u00a0<\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">need for <\/span><span dir=\"ltr\" role=\"presentation\">transplantation.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"template":"","class_list":["post-14793","spucpt","type-spucpt","status-publish","hentry"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/spucpt\/14793"}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/spucpt"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/spucpt"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/6"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=14793"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
