She has a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Arizona and has expertise in data science and molecular biology. At the PROOF Centre, Ji-Young co-leads the clinical validation trial of HEARTBiT assay, which a blood-based diagnostic test for exclusionary diagnosis of acute cellular rejection in heart transplant patients.
