\u00c9tienne Pineault’ bio<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

\u00c9tienne is a professional of international affairs specialising in the academic\u00a0ecosystem. In his current position at Mitacs as Director, International Business Development, he oversees and supports the implementation of the Globalink Research Award (GRA) program.<\/p>\n

This program facilitates international collaboration through research internships for undergraduate, graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.\u202fEtienne works closely with the offices of research services all over Canada and with Mitacs\u2019s international partners in 39 countries in both the European Union and globally.<\/p>\n

Before joining Mitacs, Etienne accumulated experience in international affairs at two major Canadian universities as an International Affairs Advisor at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al\u2019s Faculty of Medicine and as a Manager, International Agreements and Partnerships at Concordia University. During his mandates, he developed various international partnerships to support student mobility, research and international cooperation.<\/p>\n

\u00c9tienne completed a Bachelor\u2019s degree in in Political Science at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al and holds a Master\u2019s degree in International Politics and International Law from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al.
