Aligned with this year\u2019s theme, Pathways for Partnership: Centering Indigenous Priorities in Donation and Transplant Systems, CIHI invites you to join Karennahawi McComber, Director, Indigenous Health and Joseph Emmanuel Amuah, Manager, Indigenous Health for their session:<\/p>\n

Respecting First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis\u00a0Data Sovereignty at CIHI<\/strong><\/p>\n

This session will explore how CIHI works respectfully with First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis communities and organizations to support data sovereignty through engagement and partnership. It will answer questions such as:<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 How does CIHI govern First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis data held at CIHI?<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 What is CIHI\u2019s approach to co-creating health information products with First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis partners?<\/p>\n

–\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 How may a First Nation community go about accessing data and analytics about members of their community held with CIHI?<\/p>\n

The session will highlight key success stories and their impacts and speak to potential future collaborations and partnerships to inform First Nations, Inuit and M\u00e9tis\u00a0 priorities for organ donation and transplantation<\/p>\n
