Registration for 2026 ATC Education Day is Now Open<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ajmera Transplant Centre is pleased to invite\u00a0Ontario-based community health care providers<\/strong>\u00a0to its\u00a0Annual Education Day\u00a0<\/strong>held virtually on\u00a0Friday, June 5, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Registration<\/a><\/u>\u00a0is required to attend the event.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Ajmera Transplant Centre\u2019s Annual Education Conference is a virtual program designed to deliver the\u00a0latest updates and advancements in the care of solid-organ transplant patients<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This Education Day is designed to support\u00a0health care professionals practicing in community settings across Ontario<\/strong>, providing practical, clinically relevant updates to enhance the care of pre- and post-transplant patients.<\/p>\n

The program will be of interest to\u00a0primary care family physicians, specialists, surgeons, fellows, residents, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and allied health professionals<\/strong>\u00a0involved in\u00a0transplant patient management within the community<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Key highlights:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. To evaluate the role of frailty in determining transplant candidacy.<\/li>\n
  2. To explore strategies for optimizing frailty before and after transplantation.<\/li>\n
  3. \u00a0Optimizing multi-disciplinary care across the transplant continuum, including coordination with primary care providers, and long-term management approaches aimed at improving post-transplant outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
