At CDTRP, supporting innovative, patient-centred research is central to our mission, and our Innovation Grant Competition plays a key role in advancing\u00a0new ideas\u00a0with real-world impact.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

One project from a past Innovation Grant Competition funded by the\u00a0<\/span>Kidney Foundation of Canada<\/span><\/b><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/b>focused on understanding the experiences and care of kidney transplant recipients facing graft failure (when a transplanted kidney stops functioning). The findings were shared through two peer-reviewed publications, contributing to improved understanding of both patient experiences and current practices in managing graft failure in kidney transplant recipients.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
