She holds an honours Bachelor of Health Sciences Degree from McMaster University. She completed her thesis under the supervision of Dr. Suzanne Archie, investigating the impact of race and ethnicity on perspectives of Cannabis-Induced Psychosis within racialize youth in Canada. She has many years of project coordination experience through her involvements with multiple community organizations. Previously, she worked at Physicians for Human Rights as an intern in their Sexual Violence in Conflict Zones Program, and Sisters In Sync. Her thesis project investigated the impact of race and ethnicity on perspectives of Cannabis-Induced Psychosis within racialize youth in Canada.
