CDTRP 2024 Research Connect Series<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The CDTRP Research Connect series is taking place every other Tuesday at 3 pm ET<\/strong>. Don\u2019t forget to mark your calendars for this engaging series!<\/p>\n

This series streamlines the subset of Theme, Hub, and Working Group meetings that aimed to share and discuss the latest research findings across the network and our Webinar series, which featured national and international speakers. Theme, Hub, and Working Group meetings aimed at developing new initiatives, projects, or grants will be scheduled separately, approximately three times per year per group. Our goal is to make it easy for our members to know about and attend high quality presentations across all Themes and topics of interest. We are aiming for active discussions including researchers, trainees, and patient, family, and donor partners, engaging the whole community as if we were having a family dinner rather than listening to a formal presentation.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Dr. Marie-Chantal Fortin & Dr. Ruth Sapir-Pichhadze – Perspectives on Precision Medicine and Molecular Matching in Kidney Allocation from Canadian Kidney Transplant Professionals and Patients<\/strong><\/h5>\n

On February 6, 2024, we were pleased to have Dr. Marie-Chantal Fortin<\/strong>, transplant nephrologist at the CHUM, researcher at the CRCHUM and Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al, and Dr. Ruth Sapir-Pichhadze<\/strong>, Clinician Scientist at the McGill University Health Centre and Associate Professor at McGill University in Montreal, to present on the topic: “Perspectives on Precision Medicine and Molecular Matching in Kidney Allocation from Canadian Kidney Transplant Professionals and Patients<\/strong>” as part of the CDTRP Theme 3 – Engineer and Allocate Better Graft.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
