Dr. Sapna Kudchadkar is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, Pediatric Critical Care Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. Her clinical practice is devoted to the care of critically ill children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and operating room as a pediatric intensivist and anesthesiologist. Kudchadkar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics and American Board of Anesthesiology.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Kudchadkar\u2019s areas of research focus include sleep disturbances in critically ill children, pediatric delirium prevention and management, sedation of mechanically ventilated children, pediatric ICU rehabilitation and mobility, and clinical epidemiology and biostatistics. She is passionate about the role of social media in healthcare for professional networking in addition to education, knowledge dissemination and advocacy.
