New Member Profile: Dr. Mypinder Sekhon, Intensivist & Clinical Associate Professor at University of British Columbia<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are happy to welcome to the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) new members of diverse areas to join our community of researchers, clinicians, patient\/family\/donor partners and trainees who are dedicated to improving the lives of organ donors and recipients. As a new member, people are an essential part of our mission to advance the science of donation and transplantation and develop innovative, evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes for patients in Canada and around the world.<\/p>\n

We are thrilled to have Dr. Mypinder Sekhon <\/strong>joining CDTRP Research Theme 2 – Inform Universal Practices for Donation<\/a>, as a new investigator. Dr. Sekhon is an intensivist and clinician-scientist in the intensive care unit at Vancouver General Hospital \/ University of British Columbia and a Clinical Associate Professor in the Division of Critical Care Medicine and Department of Medicine at the University of British Columbia.<\/p>\n
