About the KRESCENT Program<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The Kidney Research Scientist Core Education and National Training program (KRESCENT) is an exciting and unique training initiative aimed at enhancing kidney research capacity in Canada. Launched in January 2005, the KRESCENT program\u2019s primary goal is to train an increasing number of highly skilled scientists focused on the prevention of end-stage renal disease and the development of new treatments that improve the health of Canadians affected by kidney disease.<\/p>\n

KRESCENT is a multi-partner collaboration, founded by the\u00a0Kidney Foundation,\u00a0the Canadian Society of Nephrology (CSN), and the\u00a0Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Institute of Nutrition Metabolism and Diabetes (CIHR).<\/p>\n
