Driven by the Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaborative, funded by Health Canada, and supported by the Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program, the project \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/cdtrp.ca\/en\/health-canada-odtc-project-announcement\/\">Mapping the Canadian Research and Innovation Ecosystem in Organ Donation and Transplantation<\/a>\u201d sought to create a clear view of the research and innovation ecosystem and create a shared vision for the future. Who are all of the stakeholders in the ecosystem and what roles do they play? What are the current gaps and opportunities for improvement in research and innovation in Canada? What is the future vision for the research and innovation ecosystem in Canada? What are the next steps in bringing this vision closer to reality?<\/p>\n<p>This session will overview and discuss the project results: a national, community-generated vision for a more effective and aligned research and innovation ecosystem and the potential actions that could help get us there.<\/p>\n<p>This will be a continuation of an ongoing national discussion about how to build a more effective donation and transplantation research and innovation system in Canada.
