Capacity Building with the Ottawa Methods Centre<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>On May 30, we were happy to have <strong>Dr. Tim Ramsay<\/strong> from the <span class=\"TextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">Ottawa Methods Centre.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"TextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\" lang=\"EN-CA\" xml:lang=\"EN-CA\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">Dr. Tim Ramsay has a PhD in biostatistics and is a <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">S<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">enior <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">S<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">cientist with the Clinical Epidemiology Program of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, as well as an <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">Ass<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">ociate<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\"> P<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">rofessor with the University of Ottawa\u2019s School of Epidemiology<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\"> and <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">Public Health.\u202f He is Scientific Director of the Ottawa Methods Centre, a group of statisticians, information technology specialists, epidemiologists, and health-care economists that supports clinical research at The Ottawa Hospital and across Ontario through the CIHR-funded Strategy for Patient Oriented Research<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\"> (SPOR)<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">.\u202f <\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">Dr. Ramsay has authored over 2<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">57<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\"> publications and has secured over $<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\">65<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW36222060 BCX0\"> million in research funding as a PI and co-investigator.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW36222060 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Date:<\/strong> Monday, May 30, 2022<\/li>\n<li><strong>Time:<\/strong> 3 &#8211;
