On behalf of the Collaborative<\/a>, you are invited to join a second discussion on challenges faced by racialized communities in organ donation and transplantation (ODT) presented in collaboration with Providence Health Care<\/a>, UHN Centre for Living Organ Donation<\/a> and A.C.T.I.O.N<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

How to improve the organ donation and transplantation journey for patients marginalized by race and ethnicity in Canada?<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This second webinar aims to raise awareness by providing a perspective from patients marginalized by race and ethnicity, <\/span>with a focus on anti-Black racism<\/b>, along the ODT journey<\/b>, encourage discussion and point to opportunities for improvement through action by the ODT community and partners, including governments.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

This is an important initiative that will explore how to improve cultural safety and address racism at the system level in the context of ODT.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
