Program now available: CDTRP Patient, Family and Donor Research Forum<\/h4>\n

The Canadian Donation and Transplantation Research Program (CDTRP) in cooperation with the\u00a0Health Canada-initiated\u00a0Organ Donation and Transplantation Collaborative<\/a>\u00a0and the Canadian Society for Transplantation<\/a>, is pleased to announce\u00a0the program for our\u00a0Patient, Family,\u00a0and Donor\u00a0Research Forum\u00a0<\/strong>for\u00a0November 4 and 5, 2021<\/strong>.\u00a0This virtual forum is\u00a0an excellent opportunity to inform and advance collaborations between investigators and patients, family, and donors as active contributors to the success of the project.<\/p>\n

The objectives of the conference are three-fold:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. To showcase the work of senior and junior researchers that has evolved with the addition of a patient, family, donor perspective.<\/li>\n
  2. To help senior and junior researchers who are seeking live feedback on their work from patients,\u00a0families,\u00a0or donors.<\/li>\n
  3. To support patients,\u00a0families,\u00a0and donors to develop PFD-led research projects or ideas of how PFDs can be included in ongoing transplant and donation initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Presentation and panel discussions will cover projects and topics related to family and caregivers, transplant recipients, living donation, and engaging patient, family, and donors in research.<\/p>\n
